Ingredients
- 85 grams salted butter, melted
- 85 grams dark chocolate morsels
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 150 grams granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 60 grams all-purpose flour, spooned and leveled
- 10 grams dutch-processed cocoa powder, spooned and leveled
Method
- Preheat the oven to 325F/163C convection. Use cooking spray and parchment paper to grease and line a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- In a heat safe bowl or a saucepan, melt the butter with the dark chocolate. Set them aside to cool while you get the rest of your ingredients together.85 grams salted butter melted, 85 grams dark chocolate morsels
- Use a whisk to combine the eggs, granulated sugar, and vanilla until they're just barely combined; don't over-mix.2 large eggs room temperature, 150 grams granulated sugar, 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pour in the butter and chocolate mixture to the eggs and sugar, while whisking.
- Add the flour and cocoa powder to the wet ingredients. Fold them together until they're just barely combined.60 grams all-purpose flour spooned and leveled, 10 grams dutch-processed cocoa powder spooned and leveled
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 20-25 minutes.
- Remove the brownies from the oven and allow them to cool in the pan for about 30 minutes, until they can be sliced without falling apart.
Notes
*you can also use unsweetened natural cocoa powder but you'll get a slightly lighter color and less intense chocolate flavor.
