Mini cupcakes are a cuter way to eat a classic cupcake and just as quick and easy to bake.

STEP 1: For the cupcakes, whisk cake flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Add melted butter to the dry ingredients and whisk until it's combined.

STEP 2: Add egg white and vanilla extract and mix until fully combined. Add milk and sour cream and mix until cupcake batter is smooth.

STEP 3: Fill each cupcake liner about 3/4 full. Bake at 350F for 10-12 min. Remove and let them cool in the pan for 10 min, then move onto a cooling rack.

STEP 4: For the buttercream, beat the butter for 5 min. Add powdered sugar and vanilla and beat until combined.

STEP 5: Add heavy cream and beat until well combined. Pipe onto the cooled cupcakes and decorate.
