Unsalted Butter, Powdered Sugar Heavy Whipping Cream Vanilla Bean Paste Pinch of Salt

Vanilla Bean  Buttercream

Chocolate ganache

Dark Chocolate Chips Heavy Cream

Whisk 2 1/4 cups of flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside. Beat the butter, oil, granulated sugar and golden brown sugar, eggs, sour cream and vanilla.

Alternate mixing in the flour mixture and milk. Separate the batter in half, add the 1/4 cup of flour to one half and cocoa powder to the other half.

Place globs of both batters into the cake pans and use a toothpick to swirl the batter back and forth a few times. Bake and cool.

For the buttercream, beat the butter, salt, powdered sugar, heavy whipping cream & vanilla bean paste.

For the ganache, microwave the dark chocolate with the heavy whipping cream and let it cool.

Frost the first two layers with  buttercream and chocolate ganache. Place the third layer on top & refrigerate.

Frost the cake, leaving an un-finished border at the top. Pour the chocolate ganache on top .
