Maple cake is a spiced maple cake topped with maple cream cheese frosting!

STEP 1: Combine flour, salt, baking powder & spices & set aside. Cream butter & sugar until light and fluffy.

STEP 2: Add maple syrup and maple extract. Beat in the eggs and mix the milk & sour cream together.

STEP 3: Alternate adding wet & dry ingredients to batter. Distribute batter in four 6” pans, bake at 350F for 25 min, remove & allow to cool.

STEP 4: For frosting, beat butter & cream cheese until pale and fluffy. Add powdered sugar & beat, then mix in maple extract & salt & beat.

STEP 5: Distribute frosting evenly between each cake layer. Top with seasonal fruit & caramel for all the fall feels!
