Chocolate biscuit cake is a cooked chocolate mixture with crushed animal crackers & topped with dark chocolate ganache.

STEP 1: For the cake, melt the butter over medium heat, then add cocoa powder and sugar and whisk until combined.

STEP 2: Add milk and whisk frequently. After 5 minutes the mixture should begin to boil, so whisk frequently for another 10 min.

STEP 3: Remove from the heat and add vanilla. Fold in animal crackers and spread into prepared pan. Refrigerate for 1 hr.

STEP 4: For ganache, place chocolate chips in a bowl and set aside. Bring cream to a simmer over medium-low heat.

STEP 5: Pour cream over chocolate chips and cover with a lid for 2 min. Then slowly stir until smooth and combined.

STEP 6: Spread on top of the cooled cake and top with more animal cracker crumbs. Refrigerate until firm before slicing.
