Chai cookies are chai spiced cookies studded with white chocolate chips and 2 baking options!

AP flour baking powder cinnamon nutmeg ginger cloves cardamom allspice salted butter dark brown sugar egg white chocolate chips pecans


STEP 1: Place half of the butter in the bowl of a stand mixer & set aside. Melt the other half of butter until it begins to brown & has a nutty aroma.

STEP 2: Pour browned butter over the other butter & allow it to sit for a few minutes. Add sugar & mix together. Add egg & beat until smooth.

STEP 3: Add flour, baking powder & spices & mix until flour is almost combined. Fold in white chocolate chips & chopped pecans.

STEP 4: Scoop 2 oz cookie rounds and bake 6 cookies on a cookie sheet for 12 minutes at 350F.

STEP 5: Remove from the oven, slam pan onto counter a couple of times & let cookies cool until you can pick them up without falling apart.

Option 2: For larger cookies, scoop 4 oz cookie rounds, refrigerate for 1 hr & bake for 18 min. Slam pan on counter a few times & let cool on pan for 20 min.
