These Bakery Style Chocolate Chip Cookies are thick, crisp on the outside, soft and gooey on the inside and filled with chocolate chips and chocolate chunks!

salted butter light brown sugar granulated sugar vanilla bean paste egg AP flour baking powder chopped dark chocolate milk chocolate chips


STEP 1: Cube the butter & place half in the bowl of a stand mixer. Brown the other half & pour it over the cold butter. Let it rest for 5 min.

STEP 2: Add brown sugar & granulated sugar & beat on medium speed. Add vanilla & egg & beat. Add flour & baking powder & mix on low speed. Fold in the chocolate.

STEP 3: Refrigerate the dough for 30 min, roll the dough into ten rounds, then refrigerate again for an hour.

STEP 4: Bake for 13-14 minutes at 350F. Remove, tap the tray on the counter, top with chocolate chips and a pinch of sea salt & allow to rest on pan for 10 minutes before enjoying.
