granulated sugar water salted butter heavy cream fine sea salt vanilla extract

salted butter light brown sugar AP flour graham cracker crumbs ground cinnamon fine sea salt

heavy whipping cream sweetened condensed milk fine sea salt vanilla bean paste apple butter

STEP 1: For the caramel sauce, swirl sugar and water in a pan and place over medium heat. Allow the sugar to fully dissolve as you swirl.

STEP 2: Bring to a simmer until the color darkens to amber. Remove from the heat and stir in the butter until it is combined.

STEP 3: Pour in heavy whipping cream while stirring constantly. Pour the caramel sauce into a heat proof jar and stir in the salt and vanilla.

STEP 4: For the streusel, microwave the butter until it’s melted. Add the sugar, flour, graham cracker crumbs, cinnamon and salt and mix with a fork.

STEP 5: For the ice cream, beat heavy whipping cream at med speed until it starts to thicken. Increase the speed and beat until it forms stiff peaks.

STEP 6: Add the sweetened condensed milk, apple butter, vanilla bean paste and salt and beat again just until it's fully combined.

STEP 7:  Spread 1/3 of the ice cream in a pan. Drop globs of the apple butter on top and drizzle some chilled caramel sauce over it.

STEP 8:  Swirl it with a knife and top with a layer of streusel. Swirl again. Repeat with the next two layers and cover. Freeze for at least 8 hours.
