The PERFECT fudgy brownies get their name from having the perfect combination of a fudgy, gooey and cakey texture.

unsalted butter semi-sweet chocolate morsels AP flour cocoa powder espresso powder salt eggs granulated sugar light brown sugar vanilla extract


STEP 1: Melt butter with semi-sweet chocolate. Set aside to cool. Combine flour, cocoa powder, espresso powder & salt & set aside.

STEP 2: Whisk eggs, granulated sugar, brown sugar & vanilla until just barely combined. Slowly pour the butter & chocolate mixture in to the eggs & sugar, while whisking.

STEP 3: Sift dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. Fold together until just barely combined. Pour brownie batter into an 8x8” pan & bake at 325F for 40 min.

STEP 4: Remove from the oven & allow them to cool in the pan for 60 min, until they can be sliced without falling apart.
