6 cupcakes

This 6 cupcakes recipe makes small batch cupcakes in vanilla and chocolate with vanilla and chocolate buttercream frosting.

Ingredients

Vanilla CUPCAKES

Vanilla FROSTING

unsalted butter powdered sugar vanilla extract heavy cream

STEP 1: Whisk cake flour, baking powder, salt & sugar. Add in melted butter & whisk until combined. Mix in egg white & vanilla extract, then add milk & sour cream.

STEP 2: Mix until batter is smooth & fill each cupcake liner about 2/3-3/4 full. Bake at 350F for 16-18 minutes. Remove & allow to cool.

STEP 3: For frosting, beat butter for 5 min. Add powdered sugar & vanilla extract & beat for 5 min. Add heavy cream & beat until combined. Pipe onto cupcakes.
